Plastic Pollution Research Project
Plastic was one of the greatest material inventions of the 20th Century but has become one of the greatest pollution threats to the natural world in the 21st Century. Your homework is to research information about plastic pollution and to create a leaflet to inform people of the damage it is doing to the environment and a poster to show people which plastics can be recycled and which can’t/can be reused.
Your task requires you to complete the following:
- Complete the research to answer the questions.
- Complete at least one survey for the plastic pollution litter activity. It would be good to have two areas to compare. If you are unable to go outside to do this, you can fill one in based on the plastic waste created in your own household.
- Create a poster to show which plastics are recyclable in Cheshire East.

You choose how you wish to present it – a booklet, PowerPoint, as a video report – it’s up to you.
