Welcome to Year 1!
The Year 1 Class is taught by Miss Taylor. Mrs Brown will teach the class on a Tuesday.
English Homework for this term will be to learn the spellings which will be uploaded to the website every Wednesday and will commence in the next coming weeks. Please note that there will be a written spelling quiz on these words each Wednesday and spelling books will be sent home on a Friday and are to be returned on Monday. In addition to spellings, reading is part of homework, so please keep reading!
Maths Homework will be a selection of maths games that will be linked to our current learning and added to the Year 1 webpage . Please work on this as often as you can. In addition, counting forwards and backwards in ones (from 0-100), or tens (from any single digit number) is a useful skill.
