Spellings
This year, we are trying to encourage pupils to focus on learning the rule behind spellings rather than learn a set of 10-15 spellings every week. As a result of this, your child will need to learn 6 spellings that follow a particular rule and then they will receive mystery spellings during their weekly spelling test (every Wednesday).
When discussing your child's spellings, please ensure you talk about the rule of the spellings rather than just learning them by rote!
