Midday Assistant

We have a vacancy for a Midday Assistant. 

Grade 3 Actual Salary: £4,094

Hours: 7.5 hours per week, Term time only 11.45am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday.

Closing Date:  Wednesday 17th September 2025 at 09.00am

Worth Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant who is available for 1.5 hours per day between 11.45am – 1.15pm (times to be agreed, must be flexible.)

This is a part time position and will be offered on a permanent basis, with a probationary period.

Duties include:

• Escorting and supervising children in the lunch hall or classroom.
• Encouraging children to listen and encourage positive behaviour during lunchtime.
• Supervising children during indoor/outdoor play and games and providing First Aid when required.
• Previous experience working with children/in a school environment preferred but is not essential.
