Reading
• Please encourage children to read daily.
• They should write the page numbers they have read in their reading log each time they read.
• Please read WITH THEM at least twice a week and sign their log.
• For children on the reading scheme, we do need the log to be signed by an adult at home before we change the book.
• Ask questions to check their understanding.
• Children should bring their log and book to school each day and home every afternoon.
• We will take logs in every day to check them.
