  • Visit from Author and Illustrator, Nick East.

    Mon 16 Mar 2020
Y2, Y3 and Y4 had a real treat last Friday when they were visited by children's author and illustrator, Nick East! The children loved learning all about the inspiration behind his new Agent Weasel books and they can't wait to start reading their signed copies (many have already started!). They were also given a master class in how to draw Agent Weasel and then Nick ended the morning showing off some of his ukulele skills! Thank you to Simply Books in Bramhall for arranging the event.
  • Football Match Against Disley

    Fri 06 Mar 2020
Well done to Worth Football Team! Yesterday, they played a match against Disley Primary School after school. They took home a 3-0 win - great job. The team had a great attitude and represented the school brilliantly.
  • World Book Day 2020

    Fri 06 Mar 2020
The school was filled with some fantastic literary characters yesterday! We used the book, 'The Word Collector' to have a whole school assembly and focus on interesting and exciting vocabulary throughout the day. The children looked amazing and enjoyed spending their day reading independently and aloud to each other, writing stories and poems, discussing and writing about characters and authors and finding out about which books other children had chosen. Thank you all for your efforts with costumes.
  • Art Club - Animations

    Wed 04 Mar 2020
Art Club have really enjoyed branching into computer art and animations this week. The children created their own Stikbot animations using our new Stikbot robots and the iPads. With their artist hats on, they had to think about composition, use of movement and visual effects. They are really enjoying using the ipads in a creative way and it is encouraging their problem solving skills. We would like to thank the PTA for buying the Stikbot characters. They are definitely a hit with the children!
