• Draw Tukker Competition

  We were invited by the Automobile Association to run a ‘Draw Tukker’ competition as they wanted some children’s artwork of their TV advertisement star Tukker to decorate a very plain wall in their local office. Every class had a winner with a very special prize – they got a Tukker of their own to keep. On Monday, we had a winners’ assembly where Becca (the organiser) along with Nick and Dan (AA Patrol Men of the Year) came to present the prizes. They brought a special AA patrol van with them to show the children, who were very excited by the ‘transformer’ mechanism that enabled the patrol men to turn their vans into towing vans!

  

• Woodbank Athletics

  Year 5 and 6 Woodbank Athletics - It was a real pleasure to take our Athletics Team to the annual Woodbank Athletics Competition. 10 schools took part and, although we didn’t get placed in the top three, our athletes tried their hardest and a real credit to the school and their parents. Thank you to all the children for being great company and for being such a great support to all their fellow team members and also to the parents who gave up their evening to support their children - lots of enthusiastic cheering!
