  • Gardening Club Update

    Thu 14 Mar 2019
Some children from our Gardening Club went with Mrs James and Mr Greaves today to collect their new gardening toolkit from Waitrose. The children have been given some new resources including seeds to grow in their garden. They have also been invited to set up a stall at Waitrose's Farm Shop to sell their produce in the future. How exciting!

  • Skype Call to Spain

    Fri 08 Mar 2019

The Year 6 children were absolutely FANTASTIC during their Spanish Skype Session. They did Worth proud! They spoke great Spanish and spoke their English clearly and slowly for the children in Spain to understand. We could not be more proud of them. The Spanish children loved the costumes for World Book Day...they particularly liked the Aslan Lion!

  • Young Voices Choir

    Tue 12 Feb 2019
What a night! The school choir did an amazing job last night representing the school at Manchester Arena for the Young Voices 2019 choir event. They sang beautifully, danced energetically and (as always) did us all proud. A huge thank you to Mrs Hall for organising the event and all of the staff who helped out.
  • Safer Internet Day

    Tue 05 Feb 2019
Today is Safer Internet Day so we held two special assemblies this morning (one for each key stage). We were visited by the Council Community Support Team and Mrs James talked to the school about how we can stay safe online and what to do if we are worried about something on the internet.
  • Fun in the Snow

    Wed 30 Jan 2019
The children and staff are having lots of fun today by making the most of the snowy conditions. Who will win the competition for the biggest snowman though?

    Wed 23 Jan 2019
A group of Y5 children who worked on the Poynton Schools Art Project visited Nelson Pit Visitors Centre this week to see their hard work on display. It was great to see the park ranger, Ed Pilkington, again.
