• RSPB Big Schools' Bird Watch - Reception Class

  Reception took part in the RSPB Big Schools' Bird Watch today, where they certainly spotted plenty of feathered friends.

  They built an amazing bird hide to spot from, whilst making some bird feeds for their outdoor area - Great work Reception Class!!!

  

• Tree Planting at Poynton High School

  Thank you so much to Poynton High School for involving us in the tree planting yesterday as part of their sustainability drive. The children had a great time and they will all enjoy watching the trees grow over the years!

  

• Reception Visit the Library

  Thank you to Poynton Library for having our reception class yesterday. They had a brilliant time learning about the different books available and where to find them. They also had some free time to look at the books and choose one to take home with them. The session finished with some rhymes and a Christmas story about a robin.

  

• Y6 Basketball Tournament

  A huge well done to our Y6 girls who represented school at the basketball tournament on Friday. The tournament was made up of schools from the local and surrounding area and they represented Worth brilliantly - we are all every proud of them! 🏀🏀🏀

  Y4 had a fantastic time at the Museum of Science and Industry yesterday. They learnt so much about this topic area and really enjoyed being able to explore and investigate. As you can see, it was a very tiring day...

• Soup Making with Gardening Club

  Gardening Club made a very tasty pumpkin soup after school yesterday using the pumpkin they managed to grow in the school garden. Unfortunately, they didn't leave any for the staff!
