• Y4 Roman Trip

  Y4 had a great time in Chester yesterday. They became Roman soldiers marching through the streets and along the city walls. They also got to explore the Dewa Centre and see and handle Roman artefacts.

  

• Waitrose Farmers Market

  A huge well done to a group of our gardening club who set up a stall outside Waitrose yesterday. They were selling produce from the school garden including garlic, leeks, strawberries, potatoes and spring onions. They completely sold out and had a fantastic time doing it - thank you for the support children, staff and parents!

  

• Bag 2 School

  Thank you so much for all of your donations for our Bag 2 School collection. Thanks to you, £168 has been raised for the PTA.

  

• Bikeability Course

  Well done to all of our children who have completed the Bikeability courses in the last couple of weeks. Our Y4 and Y5 children have been completing their level 1 and 2 tasks and have done a great job at doing so. 

  

• Science Dinosaur Dome

  Every class had the chance to learn about dinosaurs today. Steve came with his science dome to share lots of interesting facts all about different dinosaurs. The children were able to handle real fossils that were hundreds of millions of years old and watch dinosaurs all around them inside the dome. 

  

• Evacuee Talk in Y2

  Thank you so much to a set of our grandparents who visited school yesterday. They spoke to our Y2 class all about their experiences of being evacuees during World War Two. The children were fascinated to hear some real life stories and would like to say a huge thank you for the opportunity to listen.

  

• Y3/4/5 Rugby Festival

  Our Y3/4/5 classes attended the "Skills and Drills Rugby Festival" at Macclesfield Rugby Club yesterday. They represented the school brilliantly and had a fantastic time completing the mini games and drills. Well done to all.

  

• Y2 become Evacuees

  Y2 had a great time on their trip to East Lancashire Railway. Even though they became evacuees for a day, they luckily returned home to their families. Thank you to everyone who helped on the day.

  

• Y4 Tennis Tournament Update

  Our Y4 'A-Team' attended Prestbury Tennis Club yesterday for the next stage of the tournament. They did a fantastic job again and finished as the runners up. They will now go on to the final stage - well done.

  

• Y6 Arrive at Menai

  Y6 are having a fantastic time so far at Menai. It looks as though the sunshine has gone with them too. Have a fantastic few days all of you. We look forward to hearing all about it.
